Story

At Parch Privacy, the name itself captures our purpose and values. In English, parch means “dry”; much like the way data privacy is often treated today: compliance focused, impersonal, and lacking meaning. In Welsh, however, parch represents “respect”  a principle that sits at the heart of everything we do. Founded in Wales in 2025, Parch Privacy was created to help businesses transform their approach to data privacy from a legal necessity into a mark of integrity. In a landscape where the ICO is increasing enforcement and consumers are more aware than ever of their digital rights, we exist to bring balance, simplicity, and trust to the world of privacy-first marketing.

Parch aims to improve digital privacy standards for three key reasons.

1. Companies have an ethical responsibility to protect the data entrusted to them. Safeguarding personal information is now as much a moral issue as it is a legal one.

2. Transparency around data practices builds long-term consumer trust, strengthening brand loyalty in an era defined by digital scepticism.
